I have been a patient of Dr. Kathy for a little over a year and a half. I initially went to her for two separate issues. An amazing development with my health just materialized. For over 23 years, I have been taking medication for my thyroid. According to my blood work, my thyroid is functioning at a normal rate and I no longer need to take medication. This is amazing! To my knowledge, the thyroid doesn’t heal itself and once you are on medication, it is for life. The other issue is a kidney disorder. According to that blood work, it is stable and has not gotten worse. I was also informed by my eye doctor that I should speak to Dr. Kathy about my dry eye condition. She has been helping with that as well.
Of course, with these conditions, I would prefer not to have to take medication. To me, that is a quick fix. Taking medication also has so many side effects, some of which are dangerous. Have you ever really listened to those drug commercials? Why would anyone want to take those medications? However, certain quick fixes don’t actually cause healing. Many people rely on taking medication instead of trying to heal the problem holistically. I have always eaten whole foods and don’t believe in processed foods. However, by changing my diet to become gluten-free, with the help of a dietician, has helped control my inflammation, but I truly believe that acupuncture is helping to cure my health issues. Acupuncture is not a quick fix and it takes a while before the effects are evident. In the long run, I believe it’s so much better to be medication free and have your body listen to the needles in order to heal itself.
Thank you Dr. Kathy. The one and only medication that I was taking, I no longer have to take. That makes me medication free. Hooray! You always listen to what I am concerned about and take a very keen interest in trying to help my body do what it is supposed to do. Also, the information you provide by eating certain foods that could help the different organs in the body is fascinating and I follow your knowledge.
Love to you and your family.
